The successive rooms of the Museum offer a thematic tour that highlights that Málaga, the city where Picasso was born on October 25, 1881, is at the root of his personality and his work.

Here he spent his first ten years of life, until in October 1891 the family moved to La Coruña and later to Barcelona. They returned to Málaga in the summers of 1895, 1896, 1897, and 1899. His last stay, accompanied only by his friend Casagemas, was between the end of December 1900 and January 28, 1901.

Picasso's Birthplace is open during the following hours:
Every day, including holidays: from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Except December 24 and 31: from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Closed: January 1 and December 25

Public admission will end 15 minutes before closing time museum.
The museum entrance ticket is free every Sunday from 4:00 p.m.

Combined Ticket General Picasso Birthplace Museum

Ticket valid for people aged 18 and over. Includes admission to the Museo Casa Natal and the temporary exhibition. Hours: Every day from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (last access at 7:30 p.m.). A security control will be passed and the backpacks must be kept in the lockers, they are free and work with a coin that is returned at the collection. The reduced and free rates will only be applicable for the purchase of tickets at the box office presenting the corresponding accreditation.
