We depart from Porto for Amarante, famous for its convent sweets, its views over the Tâmega River, and the iconic Church of São Gonçalo. Lunch will be served in the heart of the Douro Valley, featuring delicious regional specialties and wines. We'll visit a winery and taste three different wines. All these traditional delicacies are a legacy of flavors that reveal the best of the region. After lunch, we'll embark on a short river cruise aboard a Rabelo boat, along the tranquil waters of the Douro Valley, flanked by terraced vineyards of vibrant colors that the sun warms and transforms into a sweet hue. We continue our journey along the EN 222, considered one of the most beautiful roads in the country, and head towards Quinta de São Luiz Kopke, the oldest Port wine house in the world, which has been producing this wonderful nectar since 1638, long before the region was demarcated. The wine tasting will take place at the São Luiz winery, which produces one of the world's most prestigious Port wines, Kopke Port.

We depart from Porto on a journey that will take you to discover two of the most emblematic cities in northern Portugal. We begin at the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, a Baroque gem declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will have time to explore the impressive gardens and staircases. We continue to the center of Braga, where we will take an hour-long walking tour of the city's historic center, highlighting the Sé de Braga, the oldest cathedral in Portugal. After this visit, you will enjoy an hour and a half of free time for lunch, where you can savor the local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will head to Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal. Here, on a 45-minute walking tour, we will visit Guimarães Castle Park, the imposing Paços dos Duques de Bragança (Palace of the Dukes of Braganza), and the historic Church of São Miguel do Castelo. The tour culminates in Largo da Oliveira, a charming medieval square in the heart of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Starting and ending in the city of Porto, prepare to discover the Quinta da Avessada winery. After a welcome reception, the program begins with a visit to the winery's gardens, accompanied by white Muscat wine and accordion music. Next, you'll participate in the grape harvest in the vineyards, listening to traditional Douro music, followed by a trip to the wine press. The experience continues with a typical Douro lunch, cooked in special iron pots, respecting the art of traditional cuisine. Afterward, the group returns to the wine press, where the traditional grape pressing takes place. The experience continues with a visit to the Enoteca space, where a complimentary Moscatel is served and the entire winemaking process for Moscatel and Port wines is revealed.
